Products are bought through a dynamic procurement system (SDA) to increase competition during the 10 years of the contract, until 2033. This technique with an electronic catalog streamlines the procurement process and guarantees legal security for both suppliers and users.

Entities that meet the specified CSUC’s internal regulations and the interpretative criteria of its governing bodies, and which are currently linked to universities and research, such as public and private universities, research centers that are part of the I-CERCA institution, scientific parks, institutions dependent or linked to universities, university centers of higher education and the institutions affiliated to the Anella Científica.

Type of agreement

The purchase of laboratory material is done through a dynamic system coordinated by CSUC, where the companies in charge of supplying the laboratory material to the different members who are part of the purchasing group are approved. Depending on the amount of the purchase, entities can make a direct purchase against the offers in the electronic catalog or conduct a second tender to achieve cheaper prices.

The SDA consists of six categories, each for a different type of product:
