Hidden collections

The hidden collections are unique, valuable and unrepeatable materials that are considered a key element for the research and dissemination of the history and culture of Catalonia.

With the aim of giving visibility to these collections, the CSUC has a programme that encourages their cataloguing in the Collective Catalogue of the Universities of Catalonia (CCUC) and and their visibility and dissemination through a specific portal, the Catalonia libraries hidden collections.

These collections are constantly increasing and the user can find them related by title, by the type of material they collect and by the owner institution. Some of the collections are digitized and are part of digital repositories such as the Digital Memory of Catalonia, although the vast majority hope to be part of future digitization projects.
