Interlibrary Loan

All the documents of the CCUC libraries at your disposal

With the Access and Interlibrary Loan service, users of the libraries of the University Union Catalogue of Catalonia (CCUC) can borrow or request copies of documents from any of the CCUC libraries, in any format and support. If the desired document is stored in the GEPA, they can also apply for the loan.

What are the benefits of the Access and Interlibrary Loan?

• Maximizes the use of the bibliographic collections of the participating institutions.
• Promotes the circulation of original documents or copies between libraries regardless of their location.
• Reduce receipt times.
• Decreases the administrative and economic management, if any, resulting from the circulation of documents.

How to access the documents loan?

Depending on your institution, you have two ways to access the documents. Choose the one that suits you best!

• Consortial Borrowing (PUC): is a free document loan service for users of CSUC university libraries and some CSUC-associated libraries. 
• Interlibrary Loan (IP): is a document loan service priced among all CCUC libraries. Users must request documents through the Interlibrary Loan and document retrieval services from their library.
