Theses and Dissertations Online (TDX)
Doctoral theses, in digital format, read within the universites that are members of the repository.
The cooperative repository TDX (Theses and Dissertations Online) contains, in digital format, those Doctoral theses that have been defended in universities of Catalonia and other territories (Andorra, the Balearic Islands and Valencia).
Full-text consultation is open access and allows narrowing the search by author, director, title, topic, university and department in which the thesis have been defended, and year of defense.
The benefits of TDX
- To publicise, around the world and on the Internet, the results of university research.
- To offer the authors of theses a tool to increase public access to their work, enhancing their visibility.
- To stimulate the open scientific production.
TDX participates in the MetaArchive cooperative with the aim of ensuring the preservation of theses and being part of one of the pioneering initiatives in this field worldwide.
Data interoperability makes TDX possible to be offered together with other international repositories such as DART or OpenAIRE.
