Consortial Borrowing (PUC)

The Consortial Borrowing (PUC) is a free, fast, and simple document loan service that provides access to both physical and electronic materials. The PUC is available in a web-based mode, accessible from the institution's catalog, and in an in-person mode, when the loan is made directly at the library where the document is located.

This service allows users to request both physical items (books, videos, etc.) as well as electronic or digitized articles and chapters from PUC institutions as well as international academic institutions.

Advantages

  • Request not only physical documents, but also electronic and digitized articles and chapters.
  • Access to digital collections from international academic and university institutions.
  • Benefit from faster delivery times and increased loan limits.
