I want to join MACO!

If you are a public or private educational, research, or outreach institution in Catalonia and want to disseminate and maximize the visibility of your monographs, MACO is your repository.

To do so, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Formally request participation at maco@csuc.cat.
2. Sign the collaboration agreement.
3. Take responsibility for intellectual property rights.
4. Undertake digitization and commit to complying with legal and technical guidelines.
5. Customize the collection space and input information about the monographs and their full text.
6. Assume the financial cost of participating in MACO.

Membership in MACO incurs a technical assistance fee of €1,481 per institution. Once the institution is a member of MACO, it must assume an annual fee of €680 for hosting and maintenance, which includes up to 10 GB of disk space.
